Red Cross Fundraiser! Sept. 10th -Oct. 31st. Business and community members around the county are volunteering to go to“jail”. Through your donated money to the Red Cross the community member gets “bailed out of jail.” For this year, Mr. Cravy volunteered to go to “jail.” You can help bail Mr. Cravy out of “jail” by going to the following website: www.northcascadesredcross.org/freethem
We hope that you will join us in this fun way of raising donations for the North Cascades Red Cross. Please check out the website for services offered by the Red Cross.
A note from Nurse Barb. Swine Flu is a concern for us again this year. Please be looking in the mail for a flier about it.

The Tonasket Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is holding its first meeting of the 2009-2010 school year, Thursday, September 3 at 7pm in the Elementary School Commons. Please join us as we make plans for the coming school year. Contact Martha Wood with questions 429-3201.
Reminder – Start collecting your Campbell’s soup labels and Box tops for Educations now. We will again be having a contest for students to earn privileges for their classroom!
School Picture Day
Individual student pictures will be taken September 22nd. Picture packets will be going home one week prior to picture day.

Visitors
Thank you for visiting Tonasket Elementary School. As a visitor we ask that you do a couple of things to keep our school safe.
1. Please park in the parking lot if you leave your vehicle unattended. The pickup/drop off area is for students getting dropped off or picked up. This is also our emergency lane.
2. Please check in at the office.
3. Please do not park in the bus lane.

Change of Schedule/ End of the Day Routine
Please remember that all calls need to be made before 2:00pm for end of the day routines. If your child has no note, he/she will be doing his/her regular routine.

Por favor recuerde que todas las llamadas tienen que ser hechas antes 2:00pm para el final de las rutinas de día. Si su niño no tiene ninguna nota, ellos harán su rutina regular.

Attendance
Please call or send a note to excuse your child when absent from school.
No home sports equipment allowed at school.
